My father just got his machine and finds it very uncomfortable he actually thinks hes losing sleep. Has anyone else had this problem? Do you know of any group forums on sleep apnea to go on
It takes some getting use to. I’ve had mine over a year now and sometimes if the head strap stretches and I don’t readjust it, I have trouble. If he’s using the nose pillow, he may find the mask more comfortable. There is one mask that covers the nose and mouth, but I have the one that just covers the nose. The company I deal with let me change my nose pillow for the comfort mask (nose mask) and I got credit for returning the nose pillow. I find that I do go to sleep faster and don’t wake up nearly as often as I used to. I never wake with chest pains from not breathing and then taking breaths. Good luck and God bless.
