Will surgery For Sleep Apnea ruin my singing voice?

I am a teenager, and I'm going to have a sleep study in a week. They believe they have OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea) because of my lower back platform and small throat. I do not think that gives me a CPAP machine will be worth it so surgery is another option. However, I am a very good singer and I dream of going to the music or the theater when you leave school. I have a very large range and I'm proud of it. But I'm afraid if I have this surgery my singing voice was ruined. I also speak Spanish and Russian, and I worried it will affect my ability to speak well. Does having this surgery ruin my voice, or what will help open my airways? No one who has had surgery for this answer would great! xx I do not mean surgery to remove tonsils and adenoids, either. Because I had those removed when I was too young to cure my madness snoring.

In no way is going to ruin or affect your singing voice, but which affect their echo chamber sound a little different. My guess is that actaully improve your singing sound. It may take a little getting used to, but you should be able to compensate for any change of resonance, if it exists. I think it is a pleasant surprise.
